日本藤田醫科大學昨日(26日)表示,低濃度臭氧可中和新冠病毒微粒,或許是醫院消毒醫療室和候診區的可行方法。這亦是全球首次經實驗確認,低濃度臭氧具有殺死新冠病毒效果。
藤田醫科大學科學家表示,他們首次證實對人體無害的0.05至0.1ppm(百萬分之一)低濃度臭氧,可殺死新冠病毒。這項實驗在一個內有新冠病毒樣本的密閉空間使用臭氧生成機,當暴露在低濃度臭氧達10小時,病毒的活性銳減超過90%。
負責這項研究的藤田醫科大學病毒與寄生蟲學教授村田貴之(Takayuki Murata)指出,透過不間斷、低濃度的臭氧處理,可減少新冠病毒的傳播,即使在有人存在的環境,也可以使用這種系統,而在高濕度環境,這種方式特別有效。

Scientists at Fujita Medical University said that they have demonstrated for the first time that low-concentration ozone of 0.05 to 0.1 ppm (parts per million) harmless to humans can kill the new coronavirus. This experiment used an ozone generator in a confined space containing samples of the new coronavirus. When exposed to low concentrations of ozone for 10 hours, the virus’s activity dropped sharply by more than 90% .
Takayuki Murata , Professor of Virology and Parasitology at Fujita Medical University, who is in charge of this research, pointed out that continuous, low-concentration ozone treatment can reduce the spread of the new coronavirus. This can be used even in an environment where people are present. This method is particularly effective in high humidity environments.
